Allegory of the Duck Billed Platypus
Tuesday, November 17th, 2009Â The idea is that our consciousness is spread across a multitude of dimensions with lower and parts. Parts of it continue in and out of this world until perfected and parts are presently in what we might call “heaven”. Not reincarnation in the Hindu sense, but not just us and God above either.
Paradox. Check the side links if you want to know more.
Anyway, so the lower part of me – the animal side has wants and desires I guess. I can feel it from time to time when my more primal things become engaged. There are reasons for urges, but the question is how to channel those into a transformational force. I’m not sure yet.
When my body dies – the energy associated with that part of me would theoretically return to earth and perhaps go out as an animal of some kind. Perhaps advanced souls’ animal natures are those cats capable of games such as fetch; birds capable of delivering messages; dogs capable of all manner of tricks; etc.
I have begun to look at abnormalities within nature to better understand this world and perhaps the world without. There are certainly a number of “odd” animals to contemplate.  Gay penguins. What about the duck billed platypus?
The duck billed platypus has enough venom to kill a dog I recently learned. It is a mammal that lays eggs. Confused? Perhaps that is the animal nature of a confused person as it returns to this world. Who knows.
What about the hag fish? I’m sure the list goes on.
