Passover 2010

While the feast of Unleavened Bread is still ongoing, I did have time to take a picture of the dinner from Passover. The menu this year did not include crackers.

It did include creamy horseradish mashed potatoes; dill, rosemary, and olive oil oven roasted vegetables (turnip, carrots, squash, zuchini); dark chocolate (beet sugar) dipped strawberries, various honey candies including somethig called truffles,  matzah, vegetable broth soup with cheese and green onion, zesty lima beans, garlic and cheese stufft olives, mozorella and tomatoe, and a few other things I have long since forgotten.

Some friends and I read Bible stories, discussed feral cats, and discussed some aspects of higher reality until about 6AM in the morning. The next day I was quite worn out.

The following evening I spent the Passover largely alone and eventually decided to sleep under the stars. It was nice having the full moon out and I just layed out in the back yard with some blankets and listened to the birds and insects sing. All together – not a bad 48 hours.

No crackers this time 🙂
